Pretty self-explanatory. About a friend I used to have.

Best friend gone
Haven't known her for years
She may be smiling on the outside
But behind the mask its nothing but tears

She screams herself to sleep
She cuts herself awake
She doesn't deserve the way people treat her
But she just cant get a break


Face painted
To hide the pain
No matter what she does,
It always ends the same

Longing for a purpose
But she just jumps from guy to guy
Tired of being lost,
Sick of everyone's lies

Desperate to make things better,
But she still hasn't learned how
She thinks it will be easier
If she just ends it now

I try to help her
But she won't listen to me
I'm surprised she hasn't told me to leave her be
So she can to left alone
To kill herself in peace.
