My first Sonnet, not strict meter, strict rhyme, personal, dark and love poetry. |
Heavy handed love hold mine heart entwined With fading thought beaten skin it doth rejoice Thy tender chain keep safe mine pitied mind Begotten tears choke still mine weary voice Heavy handed love hold mine heart entwined With thine which sings to make true love attest And yet so much thy fist doth long to find Upon mine soul a place with comfort rest Heavy handed love hold mine heart entwined With mem’rys past which sing their silent song Mine bleeding wounds thy love true still defines And though we part thou doth till time be gone Heavy handed love leave mine heart behind Let love mine soul the heart it longs to find. |
