Decieved

He tried so hard, then gave up once he had me

These walls so high,
no one will climb.
Yet you snuck in,
Went underneath,
And dug a hole.
Weakened my alarms,
Surprised the guards.

Once inside- altercations,
They occurred,
the roles reversed ,
and all hardwork
was pointless and trashed.
All that was left?
An empty feeling of a void,
Yet to be covered,
Just left unguarded,
Vulnerable… And cold.
but when one door closes?
a window remains open.
