Every word and every phrase of this poem was inspired by my own Eternal Love, my husband.

Eternal Love


When you are weak,
I will be the strength you need to get back on your feet.

When you are lost,
I will be your guide, showing you the path leading back to my heart.

When you are angry,
I will be there to show you it's not all that bad, and remind you how to laugh.

When you are lonely,
I will be right there by your side....all you have to do is look.

When you shed sad tears,
I will be the one to dry them.

When you shed gleeful tears,
I want to be the cause.

When you are confused,
I will make the world appear simple and help you to understand.

When you are distraught,
I will take your pain upon myself and ease your burden.

When you are in need,
I will be your support, standing beside you the whole way.

When you feel happiness,
I will be there to share in your joy.

When you are accomplished,
I will be your biggest fan.

When you are unsure,
I will reassure you that I am still right here.
