still working on it

In your eyes I can feel the ocean tide

breaking my defenses like waves against castles

Your a living portrait of the stars over the water

onto the sand I fall

looking at the night sky

clouds like your memory

roll past my view

and in my trance as i gaze

I wonder if we should ever embrace

or am I foolish to write such lines

to think such thoughts

possibly

but I fear those would be troubled waters

for us to enter

destined forever to only lie on the sand

and never in it
