This is a poem about the truth and its consequences...
Sometimes you wish you didn't know
What someone said or thought.
You wish you hadn't said which
Person you think of naught.

Sometimes you wish you didn't know
The truth that will set you free
Because that truth will set you afire
And cause those you love to flee.

Sometimes you wish you didn't know
What problems someone else has -
You never know what role you'll play
Or who you'll be portrayed as...

Sometimes you wish you didn't know
God's plan for you as such.
You'll surely lose your "everything,"
But God has given "much."

Sometimes you wish you didn't know
The things you begged wisdom for -
Beware of what you ask, my friend,
It may just shut the door.
