Written in the stars

I know it has a similar title to the song... But it's not like the song.

Looking to the sky,
Eyes as big as mine,
Digging through the clouds
Finding my wishes
That are never to be true.

Written in the stars,
Messages to me from afar,
Where I will never know,
And I'll never really feel
What is real to me
Why is everything so fake?
What is there to be?

I try and I try,
I write and I write,
But my message remains
In the stars
Where no one can read,
No one can see,
But I know it's there,
Behind a cloud or two,
And I know it's there.

Remembering the times,
Where it didn't matter to me.
But, today, it matters to me
Because I never tried before,
Till today, when I have things,
No, people,
That need me

What is that message,
Written so far up there,
Unseen by the human eyes?

The message, unclear to myself,
Is my wish and dream
Forever unseen by most,
Unless you look at the message
Written in the stars.
