The Path

Happy Easter to everyone. Here are my thoughts for the day.

The Path

Our hearts are filled with joy today
because we know we're saved,
by a special man who died for us
and rose up from the grave.

He did not have fine jewels or clothes.
He lived a simple life.
He made all learn what we should do
to have peace instead of strife.

If he came forth this very day
would we believe his words?
Or try to see the wounds he had
before our hearts were stirred?

We should take time to pray to God
and listen to His Son.
As Jesus rose on Easter Day
our path to Glory has begun.
