The poem is about how man blinded by religion becomes fanatic |
| Where are you, when my heart is lonely, where is the light, where your torch is burning. When I see up, there is black dark sky, with stars of religion burning the sky. The flames have enveloped the endless blue, with it is burning my religion of truth. Today, when everybody is a religious leader, my lips are without even a single prayer. They broke the living idol of my heart, and made a blood-soaked fort out of it. War cries are their chantings, their salvation is through fighting. Like a stranger, I walk through, the streets of this neo religion. Feeling lonely, the Gods too are not friendly, searching for you in these burning streets, where are you, when my heart bleeds. |
