The Life Of A Butterfly

God put into a classroom called Earth
where I've been watched by many since birth
in a confined space my motion was limited
my environment controlled and I was a crazy kid
I still am and that will never change
then i went through a growing phase
getting uglier the challenges get harder
shunned by society so i became smarter
now ready for the transformation to play
my body begins the chrysalis stage
it has come time to let me be
so then i was released and set free
life is so grand i hope i'm not delusional
for i have all i want and i'm so beautiful
the door has been opened i am no longer shy
i'm so blessed to live the life of a butterfly
