Eventually the cookie crumbles...

Broken



A bed that held two
only holds you.
Alone in the dark
tears paint the world blue.

You toss and you turn
wondering why.
Why would this happen
why would she lie?

How could she throw back
the heart that you gave
turn her back to deny
all that you crave?

Because it is done
because she was through
because when she woke
she didn't love you.
