my observations around me
I live in the valley of light but look through a window of darkness.
I see the warmth of the sun touch my skin, but I only feel the darkness and human bitterness around me.

I live in a valley of light but see the darkness.
I see people all around me but only the darkness can be seen in their eyes.

I see only darkness and greed.
I see what has happened to a once great country, which I Iived and would have died for.
Now I only see greed, bitterness, and cruelty.

I have seen a once great church, brought to its knees by the greed of so many men and women.

Is this the time of the Armageddon?
To be honest, I do not know.

If it is, I hope the stories are true.

Where the unjust will get their justice.
Where those who are asking forgiveness will receive it.
Where unanswered questions will be answered.
Where stolen children will be returned to their rightful mothers and fathers.
Where siblings no longer hit and beat their younger siblings.

Will this all to come to pass, or are we doom to become extinct like all the dominated species of years gone by.
Is there any hope left in this world or is it dead?

Are we one race of human beings, or separate groups, different species altogether, and we all just look alike?

We will destroy this planet and leave nothing for the future generations, or does anyone really care anymore?

It is said, no man is an island, but if you look through my eyes all you will see is a whole horde of islands floating around me.

Do we have any hope at all, or has it been replaced with individual greed?
