A poem about modern life. |
To Carve from Man Wealth and riches, a tender heart, Stripped and bleeding, fallen hard. Throw yourself into the Night, An endless battle without a fight. Repeat your duty to thankless praise, Lost and stolen this lifeless age! Share your joy with others still, Whilst worn feet tread the mill. A fleeting moment of connection, Spoiled and rotten by endless correction. Of views shaped by national desire, To carve from man an unnatural liar! |
