That's what hurts most
Thinking you can count one someone
But then they prove you wrong
They hurt you in such a heartless way
and show their bitter face
They prove you misplaced your trust
But it doesn't matter
its over
You turn away and hide your tears
You turn away and hide your fears
Not wanting to draw attention
On the inside you hide
With no light
or no fight
You see the stares
You feel the hate
That is what will change you
All because of that one person
That person with such a black heart
Who uttered that promise
Then broke it for a game
That is the one
Who broke you
who caused you such pain
Who caused you all that hurt
The person who Betrayed you
No longer remembers your name.
