about life being in your control

Mine
the voices call me,
they want my soul, my heart, my mind
but they can't have them.
they want my body, my life, my dreams
but they can't have them.
why do they want them?
because they want what they can't have
this is my life, my time
i will never let anyone take anything away from me again
i am my own person
i have my own ideas, my own cares, my own happiness.
they all have one thing in common,
they're all mine, and no one can change that.
