Following the darkness

Follow the Night

I follow the night
by the pale moonlight leading me
Into the darkness
As the stars flicker like candles
in the sky
That will set my soul free

The night sounds that surround me
Soothe my soul
The trees shroud me
and stand as soldiers ready to protect me
From the evil that emminates from society

The Dark Spirit rises
And unto me calls
He is my protector for all eternity
He will do no harm
as he gently takes me
Into his realm without any trickery

I do not fear Him
as He gently engulfs me in His embrace
For I feel His love and tenderness
As He takes me for all of eternity.
