They say this life is a journey
In which it is unknown
I’ve traveled through my choices
Some paths I’ve walked alone
My spirit it does whisper
My soul yearns to be free
My heart is full of love
While my mind controls my dreams
I’ve ran through the darkness
I’ve walked within the light
I’ve seen so many faces
To judge is not my right
They say this life is a journey
In which it is unknown
I’ve been in search of its balance
And I’ve found it within my home
My children bring me laughter
My husband lends his strength
Our heartstrings are connected
Alone we may bend
But together we won't break
