The Descent

First time I have written anything in a while hope someone likes it. Enjoy :)

Smooth is the descent into hell,
And easy is the way,
But I cannot give in,
I can't listen to what they say.

I cannot believe something,
That cannot see,
That flaw is in all of us,
And is as natural as when we breathe.

I cannot give in,
I cannot believe,
That torture is imminent,
When I am in grief.

Nobody deserves this,
This hate that I see,
And by the gods I will end it,
In that I can believe.
