A poem about returning to God. |
A Renewed Life A poem about returning to God Edited by Livingston County Writers & Critics Support Group While searching for my loss I saw a refugee dear Walking down the street The music I could hear My heart was racing as I went The pace my steps did set Remembering how long ago my heart to Jesus wept Entering the sanctuary I looked around in awe The picture of Jesus hung sweetly on the wall More sounds I heard that were a delight The preacher was preaching, telling what was right Memories were haunting me My heart had lost its glow I was directed to the past and to the things I know My life is not over I have returned I’m on a solid foundation At last, at last, I have learned!
