A poem about change via the mother of us all and the flame. |
-Hearts A Fire- by Keaton Foster The mother of us all Unkempt Debris of dreams Impossible they seem Waiting around Looking for a spark To ignite the flame A catalyst of change. Creatures both big and small Stay hidden away Afraid not of change But terrified of the flame Death meant to be inhumane For those who stand in the way For those who refuse the will Of the mother of us all Creation via absolute destruction. Those hiding away will be safe In their dens and burrows The flames cannot burn the ground Only the fuel that is abound Only the weeds and the stagnant Stands of forever trees Who will be ripped clean They will have to live with the scars Of all that has been done By both man and the flame. Hearts a fire Burning from the spark Of change on an unprecedented scale All that is fuel will be consumed All that remains will have a chance To grow straight and true And to live in a better place The mother of us all will again live Life always finds a way to transcend… Hearts A Fire Written by Keaton Foster Copyright © 2012. |
