Popularity: far from
a simple term.
An aching desire to be
wanted, included.
You start conforming to be
wanted, included.
At last, permitted to be
wanted, included!
Then they decide you won't be
wanted, included.
So disgusted you can't be
wanted, incuded.
Despise you'd needed to be
wanted, included.
With true friends, you'll always be
wanted, included.
Individuality,
even at the
cost of popularity:
maturity.
The need to conform in youth
will soon make way
to a desire to be
different.
Blessed: those who think for themselves,
and truly live.
