Happily inspired to write about nature and lessons learned in life - a poem.
|The Heavenly Father’s insatiable
And often-decimated earth,
With its ever-booming and magical timepiece;
Cycles advance the creeping horror
Of life and death for all creatures,
Both mighty and small,
As the oceans’ swirling tides
Continue their rise and fall with gravity and abundance.
The hopeful and prodigious dawn gradually
Signaling the luminous dusk again,
As those rambunctious auras and vistas
Bow discreetly to the lowly, tranquil,
And calmly-lit nights of restful sleep yet again.
Those empathic journeys of uneasy rest
Shedding light on blissful times of awakened learning;
Those cast upon misguided truths,
Where logic, discipline, and diligence advance
Their triumphant and cognitive roles.
And the humble earth once again balances
Its euphoric ledger…
