For the A Poem a Day Contest.
Distraught with this world of complexities,
I started brooding over this helpless
Condition of mine; struggling alike a
Prisoner trapped in this desolate earth.
Wearied down by the dull monotony,
I fell asleep and dreamed of a lovely
Place with lush green meadows ,and a gentle
Breeze fondling my body with light touches.
I looked at the azure sky above ,with
The white fleecy clouds peeping from outside.
Suddenly a vibrant rainbow flashed out,
And I saw beautiful Angels smiling
At me and blessing me from The Heaven;
As if I were in a paradise.
My cellphone rang and with sleepy eyes, I,
Picked it up going back to my true life.

Prompt:To use the words "paradise" and "brood" or "brooding"
