America's Brothers

To my fellow and former brothers (and sisters) in arms.

A soldier fights the wars
to protect his family and home.
A sailor sails the seas
to ship the troops to and fro.
A marine is trained to kill
to take his enemy out of the fight.
An airman flies the skies
to scout out the battle site.
In the name of good fun
they may tease each other,
but when in a fight
they will all fight as brothers.
Yes, brothers in arms
watching each others backs.
Leave no man behind,
down to the last breath.
Each are trained different,
and sacrifice to do their part
to keep our freedom free,
coast to coast, heart to heart.
