~He Doesn't Know~

A sad poem

He only wants to love someone,

And to be loved in return

He wants someone to accept him,

And everything there is to learn



He suffers in bitter silence

With the hurt that he hides

Painkillers won't even fix

The secret pain inside



Even surrounded by people,

He still feels so alone

He can’t find a cure

For the empty ache in his soul



He doesn’t know how beautiful he is,

And he doesn’t believe what I say

He doesn’t believe how much I love him,

Or how much I wanted to stay
