Forgetting you

How do you forget someone?

I took a step today
A step I swore I'd never take
I told you I still love you
And even though you never said those words back
I'm glad I told you
But how do I take the next step to forgetting you
Can I forget you? Am I supposed to forget you?
Or am I supposed to live with this pain in my heart
This ache that wont leave me.
If it was easy for you to move on
Why can't it be the same for me?
