The Joy of Salvation, Christian poetry, Christmas |
The Joy of Salvation With golden harps the angels play to tell the souls who lost their way To those who felt complete dispair, they bring a ray of hope to share The song of joy that's sung this day, is sung for all who sit and pray For God to help them as they bear their loss of faith with no compare The faithfull also feel the cheer, and each and everyone doth hear As silver bells do surly ring, God's gift to man, the King of Kings The holey angels fly so near, they do bring out the joyus tears Reminding you of fragile things, that float about on angel's wings For some a silent peace does fall, as others waken to the call Of hallelujah choirs, in white and golden robes attired Do now proclaim to one and all, their sins forgiven, large and small Rejoyce with all your heart's desire, the love of Christ will never tire Let salvation always be your goal, cast your worries from your soul It's Christmastime, so just behold, the greatest story ever told |
