Chase Kowalski
An Acrostic of Remembrance
by Steve Cope

Chase the butterflies in the field.
Hear the screech of the owl on a chilly night.
Add your name carved into a mighty oak tree.
Share a piece of bread with your best friend.
Every day live life to the fullest and Chase the fears away.

Keep the memories alive.
Oh remember fondly the life that was lived.
Watch vigilently for the reunion to come.
Ascend from the depths of loss and continue on.
Let love be the boosting factor in returning to normal.
Show others that you care about them.
Knowing that some will not understand.
In the dark and sad days after this tragedy, let us stop to remember
Chase Kowalski.

Chase in the Old French means "hunter"/"pursuer of truth"
Seek Him who . . . turns darkness into morning and day into night, who calls forth the water from the ocean and pours it our as rain upon the land.  Amos 5:8
