I met this wonderful and beautiful young lady who carries so much. For Shelby
Shelby

So young and precious
Is the beauty of her youth
Strong and yet so vicious
And yet so far from the truth

Blinded by obscurities
Left astray from her path
A life of anger and impurity
Held prisoner by her own wrath

Does she know of her inner demons
That consumed what was once pure grace
Could it be these very demons
That placed this mask upon her face

She carries such a burden
The very weight of past events
I can see in her eyes she's hurt'n
I wish it was something I could prevent

Fed by hand the lies of powder
She is loved by her hate for eternal bliss
Her habit has silenced her thoughts by screaming louder
A sleeping beauty who can't be awakened by a kiss
