Write a brief synopsis of the Intermediate Crisis. Make sure it is externally induced.
For this intermediate crisis I will have the Empress' 2nd hand mage show up on the scene. In the last book he was embarrassed for helping Her current lover try to capture the four mages, but he was easily incapacitated by two of them.

In this 'book' he will only be after Donieal; of course the others want to help him out but he refuses their help and battles the Empress' mage on his own.
