Situations from Intoxication

A woman describing her boyfriend who becomes intoxicated and abuses her.

The normal days are bad enough but with intoxication he gets rough
He's a skilled fighter, he's too tough
I huff and puff but it's not enough
I tell him to stop but he registers go
It doesnt matter if I say no because he doesn't even slow
The more I fight, the more I hurt
The more I try to get away, the more he lifts up my skirt
I know this is wrong, he shouldn't do this to me..
He's blinded by the liquor, if I explain it he won't see
Cruel and insidious nights are all to come
If he continues to hit on me I swear that I'm done
I can't do this anymore
On top of hitting me he calls me a whore
A bitch, a slut, all kinds of names
Physical and mental pain
Sometimes I think he's playing a game
Cuz real love shouldn't feel like this
It should be sweet and soft like a gentle kiss
A gentle kiss is something I miss
But this relationship took a twist
& now its fallen into the abyss
