What it feels like to have your light stolen.
You tore the wings off an angel
And now she can't fly
She can barely reach the door handle
In the room which you left her to scream
And cry

And she doesn't understand why
To young to know what
You leave her there
To decay and rot

Unprotected
The little angel so far from home
The evil of mankind
The poor thing was shown

Frightened and unaware
She still loved the one's that didn't care
Surrounded by the ignorant, uncaring, and unwilling
She grew with sadness in her heart
A longing for the missing piece
Torn from her heart

Never truly wanted
She was a burden on all she loved
She was waiting on her white dove
A sign that things where okay
That its okay for her to come out to the light
Of day

The little angel
Lost not found
Tries to fly
But plummets to the ground
