Soft the light that stands alone, tender in the night.
He feels the darkness all around, tries to spread his might.
Far away a glimmer shines, flickering in the gloom.
Glides in wonder toward the light, yearns her glint to bloom.
Dare not speak ere her glimmer dim before its dawning.
Softly caress her velvet throat, rewarded for his longing.
Brilliant the glow from primal blaze brings it all true.
Together as one in silhouette, embraced hearts anew.
