Things I wouldn't say but still am thinking about anyways

Isn't it weird how just the briefest eye contact with someone can make you melt. I'm so negative and cynical and yet my body still reacts to people like they could potentially be interested which is baffling because my thoughts almost center on how nobody will ever be attracted to me. I was really depressed and then this happy looking girl just looks at me and it just makes my day and I'm filled with joy and excitement and the nervous butterfly feeling. I love friendly waitresses and service people.. genuine smiles directed at me are greatly appreciated. I hope good things happen to her, friendly people make the world a better place.
