Everlasting

Hibiscus umbrellas spread wide
In the gently falling rain
Drink it in, without loss of pride
Good earth, the saints ordain
Weather we take in stride

Over garden, pasture, field
Gentle rain spreads far and wide
I know who brought the yield
Rising green oozing  pride
Rain, sweat and sun are sealed

Our mutual efforts will contain
Gentle soul and peaceful mind
Body filled with fruit and grain
Questions answered and we find
From worry we must abstain.
