There was once I never dreamed of having girls all around,
But now that God has planted thee you're like the lilies not often found.
And clothed with the beauty with which God has adorned,
Not even Solomon in all of his glory, hath ever he worn.
Now that God has placed you in my garden to grow,
To water, to nurture, and to teach what little I know,
If there is anything I know that can cause the garden to thrive.
I'll do my best to give it Thee whilst I am alive.
And the one thing I have that will cause you to grow,
Is the love and affection that I can bestow.
So grow big little lilies:
My love leave you aglow!
