Unsuspecting men set a plague upon the land. |
The Bunny Plague The world had become a dreary place: no light, no smile, no song. Jaded by images, words and deeds, people no longer got along. Then one day some fellows founds a coffin made of lead. Deciding to crack it open to see who was dead. To their surprise and before they could close it back up tight, out came rainbow-colored bunnies hopping to the night. The bunnies carried in happiness, love, and hope-- diseases most alarming. People screamed and tore their hair, each other they were harming. Society had become such a place that no none understood how to handle happy things nor to comprehend good. The rainbow bunnies no matter how harmless that they seem, destroyed the world as across it they did teem. Hoards of folks died from fright, others locked away. In the light they couldn't cope, they knew no other way. Nowadays bunnies bright with rainbow hues are seen every day, all because man couldn't keep curiousity at bay. Line Count 40 |
