Friends, People I’ve Met On WDC

Three years ago in June, I joined WDC,
One of my first reviews came from murphyco.
I asked a friend to join, she did the next day,
She’s quite a writer herself, my friend Amay

Jack Goldman was an author I read early on,
Then I entered 'The Jester' in a contest, and actually won!
A Thankful Carol St.Ann was a mentor in my early days.
Gently prodding and guiding in so many ways.

The site is run by The StoryMaster , need I say more?
I’m at home here now, my writing has soared.
I met Annette through her forum "Anniversary Reviews" ,
We had a chance to meet last year, how could I refuse?

Another friend would be the awesome Yellow Rose
She’s reviewed most of my port; why? One can only suppose.
I found myself mentoring gladiola for a short while,
She lives far away, a few thousand miles

There’s a Princess on the site, from a Nintendo game,
Her handle is Princess Zelda , but what’s in a name?
We have that Addam’s family hand, do you remember the ♥tHiNg♥ ?
But I know I’m forgetting someone,,,, something….

There’s so many author’s I’ve met, like ~ Santa Sisco ~ and gjfindley
Not to mention Tina M. Courtney and blue jellybaby
It would be impossible to mention everyone I’ve met,
I hate leaving anyone out, but yet….

There’s so many excellent poems & stories to read,
WDC’s a bookworm’s delight, a pleasure indeed.
So come sit a spell, read something, try your luck,
Maybe you’ll visit the port of Tom Buck .

Don’t forget to drop the author’s a line or two,
Let them know how you feel in a short review.
