Our life together. Till death do us part
You put upon my hand a band of gold
Eighteen and Twenty-three years old
Two hearts-a lifetime we'd been told
Our souls entwined-became one

You gave-my womb begat our sons
Time held us all-we had fun
Forty-one years had just begun
Now on earth I am just one

The paleness of my cheeks
A redness wet's my eyes
I laid you down to sleep my love

The peoples silent ring around you
Telling your story
Each life you touched

Amazing grace called you-so soon
My darling Denny
The Rose you left behind
So sad in winters want

She will bloom again in summer and go on
For heavens sake and yours
Good bye my love
Till mornings glory

!5th August 2006 Alexi Mason
This is the date my life changed and after forty one years of being one with my husband, I became the one who had to go on alone. Anyone who has been through this loss will know. I miss my man to this day.
Denny was sixty-three when he died and a good man who touched many lives.
We have three sons and four grandsons.
My name is Rose and I hold these words close to my heart.*Heart*
