Deep Deep Down

This passage was written by aged 12 me and published in a book of poetry by young people.

Deep Deep Down

Deep deep down in the middle
of my heart lies a secret world.
In that secret world a cave stands
tall and proud.For in that secret cave
lie my achievements:
Achievements I earned,
achievements I have received.

In that secret cave a secret tunnel lies.
Pass through the secret tunnel
and see my secret waterfall.
My secret waterfall guards my dreams.
Dreams that are waiting to be freed.

Pass the secret waterfall
to my secret rain forest.
In my secret rain forest
live my favorite animals:
Tigers, lions, macaws.
And whales and dolphins
swim playfully in my secret sea.

As yet no more of my secret world
has been discovered.....

I can't wait to get there.
