A try at Minute Poetry
Rebel forces were battle-worn,
families torn.
War was at hand,
across the land.

The battles held the land captive,
cannons active.
Men were dying,
women crying.

North and South would unite once more,
An end to gore.
Nation's wounds heal,
The hearts of steel.
