An acrostic poem using Iljimae (Lee Jun Ki vers.) as a topic. |
| Innocent when his tale began, but Legendary he would turn out to be. Justice he practices as taught by his father In raising his sword for good rather than Malice that seeks only to end life. A simple thief and criminal to the wealthy Even though he is beloved by the poor. Politics took away everything He held dear as a child And any life he might have lived. Never will he forget what he saw, due to a Tattoo marking the skin directly Over his heart. The image he saw on the Man's sword, etched into the blade, That took his father's life. He seeks out the sword In the homes of the nobles. Eager to catch the man who killed his Father, he wastes little time with guards. |
