Finding love and peace through lack of self - a poem. |
| An ego in hiding, yearning to be, While desiring much in the way of earthly retribution, Shall have to wait for nearly an eternity... For the guilt of eternal, vexing pride Metes out an exact and deathly punishment. Simply focus on adaptability and the scarcity of life's flavor, And cope with life's unique and ridiculously Strange repertoire! All creatures of habit React soundly and dutifully To life's roller coaster ups and downs. Therefore, good habits form the timeless span To conscious, all-encompassing successes And lasting spiritual gains. So seek everlasting rewards Through peace, instruction, And enlightened self-understanding. For these truths embody our purpose In this immensely bizarre universe, Where good fortunes rely solely On treasured oaths And the most formidable medicines. |
