A silly jingle

Please help me on this.  To my recollection, I wrote this little jingle when I was in High-School. If anyone knows otherwise, please tell me so I will stop taking credit for it.  I've always been a fan of Shel Silverstein, and the style is similar to his, but I don't think the words are.  Anyone heard this one before?...
