I have not yet acquired this degree.  I will start taking classes Nov. 4, 2013.  For this degree, I must have 1500 hours field experience hours, which I will acquire while taking classes.

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN HUMAN DEVELOPMENT, RURAL SOCIOLOGY, AND FAMILY SCIENCES WITH A SPECIALIZATION IN CHILD DEVELOPMENT
I took courses like Survey of Exceptionalities, which concentrated on working with people with special needs.  I took a class in Child Life, Child Welfare, Infant/toddler, child, adolescent, and adult development.

COMMUNICATION          
In school, communications was my favorite class.  I gave many presentations and always got complimented on my creativeness and flair.

LEADERSHIP          
When I worked for Bright Ideas Enrichment center, I was Assistant Director.  When I was in high school, I took a class called Peer Leadership, which was an elective, where we traveled from elementary school to elementary school to teach children the effects of bad habits.  We also spent time with them and took them on trips.
