A Poem I wrote when my Nanny passed away on June 1st for her funeral

My Angel


You left this world on a Saturday
I hope you know we'll all be okay
I wish I'd had one last chance to see you
You'll remain in my heart, forever it's true

You are an angel watching from above
You filled our hearts with lots of love
There are So many people who will dearly miss you
But your with papa, and your loved ones too

You helped me be who I am today
Thank you, is all I have to say
You had so many wishes you wanted to come true
But you watched us grow up, and it's all because of you

I knowThe one thing you wanted out of life
Was to watch me become a loving wife
But I know that your watching, your there in heart
Never from there, will you part

So here's to the woman who inspired who I am to be
I love you nanny, I know your watching me
