Does anyone remember why we celebrate Christmas?

Carolers raise their voices to heaven,
Heralding the approach of the gift giving season.
Ringing bells and sirens announced Santa's arrival,
In a firetruck at the main entrance to the mall.
Stores begin their Black Friday sales early,
To lure bargain hunters on Thanksgiving night,
Making them easy targets in dark parking lots,
And giving thieves early Christmas presents:
Seraphim are weeping scarlet tears.
