This describes an accident that occurred at a friend's school.

I may not know him,
And I'd never heard
Of him before,
But I still want him to live
Through this Christmas
And many more.

But the driver wasn't
Watching the highway
Like he should have been,
And now he's brought
Christmas Tragedy
On a friend of my Friend.

God, don't let him die,
Don't let this stranger go,
Bring a Christmas Miracle.
