Me falling off my scooter
Falling
By: Alyssa Smith
I did not cry, I was strong, but the teeth clenching pain shot through my leg and elbow as I lay in the street. It was stinging like crazy and the blood was oozing out from the open wounds. It was the first fall off my scooter in a long time. I guess I forgot how exciting scooters can be when you ride on them down the street. You’re zooming down the street, wind blowing so hard in your face, so you squint your eyes and can barely see anything at all. What a rush. Then you think your all that and you start to go as fast as you can and before you know it your on the ground with a funny story to tell.
