The ability to overcome nerves and accomplish great things - a poem.
|When endeavoring to accomplish great things,
People often develop butterflies in the stomach;
A case of the nerves which can cloud up
Thoughts and feelings
And compromise maximum performance.
In these instances, a person can come up
With a strategy or plan
To successfully engage
In achieving a sought after result.
For the human factor shall always exist,
And it must be countermanded with quick, headstrong thinking
And excellent, coordinated planning.
For life consists of these lessons
In breaking that endless string
Of circular and negative outcomes,
And doing so requires us
To engineer precision and substance
Into our everyday lives...
